Pacific Wave Surf Shop
Pacific Wave Surf Shop is a family owned business that opened in 1993 on Pacific Avenue, in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz. After the Loma Prieta earthquake changed much of downtown, Pacific Wave was able to move into the empty and damaged old historical building that was once the county bank in 1895. Inspired by other local surf shop, but also by the ever growing surf and skate culture that embodies Santa Cruz, Pacific Wave has taken the local surf shop mentality to a whole new level.
Uroko
The Japanese word UROKO means “fish scales”. I thought it was fitting for a small line of clothes that would represent the passion ocean faring people have in their hearts. If you love the sea or the creatures in it, and perhaps at times feel like a sea creature yourself, then I hope you enjoy the art and clothing that I make in celebration of it.

International Aquatic Trades, Inc distributes Doc's Proplugs and are located in Santa Cruz, California. Doc's Proplugs are distributed to selected dive shops, surf shops, pharmacies, Ear, Nose, & Throat (ENT) specialists for purchase by consumers. Since 1977, when Doc's Proplugs was first created, their patented design have been recognized by professionals and patients alike as having the most features in respect to comfort and protection.
The story of Hotline began in the late 1970's on the cliffs above a popular Santa Cruz surf spot, Pleasure Point. With the familiar story of boy meets girl, however, in this case the outcome was the formation of a partnership and the birth of a business! The result was Hotline wetsuits which was founded in 1979.
