The Doheny Longboard Surfing Association (DLSA) annual coalition contest, "Gathering of the Tribes"!

Logjam! annually attracts over 100 competitors ranging in age from 7 to 60+, from all over California. Contestants bring their cherished vintage “logs,” pre-1970 longboards weighing 20 lbs or more. They are surfed without a leash; truly a show of classic longboarding!

The SCLU Memorial Day Club Invitational is the longest-running longboard surf contest in the United States. It’s not just fun for surfers; this community event raises much-needed funds for local nonprofit organizations benefiting children. "the best longboard contest in the US."

"The Ugly" is one of the most challenging surfing event in the Coalition of Surfing Clubs schedule. The Rock at Morro Bay provides an iconic venue for this legendary event that over the years has produced some of the most spectacular, and dangerous, surf competitions on the California Coast.

The Malibu Surfing Association (MSA) formed in 1961 as one of California’s first surfing clubs. Each of the MSA’s eight original members shared a love of surfing and surfing Malibu.
