The SCLU Memorial Day Club Invitational is the longest-running longboard surf contest in the United States. It’s not just fun for surfers; this community event raises much-needed funds for local nonprofit organizations benefiting children.

General Information

Longboarders from across the state take over Steamer Lane each Memorial Day weekend, as nearly 200 contestants compete in the longest-running longboard surf contest on the West Coast! This event is an Invitational, open to Coalition of Surfing teams only.
